This position requires onsite attendance 5 days per week at our Division Office which is located in Bloomington, Minnesota.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for compiling and analyzing purchasing and supplier information to prepare cost and material estimates and contract pricing.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete estimates of costs and quantities of residential products using comparative and differential estimating techniques
Develop committed quantity and cost estimates for both new product development and non-standard options
Responsible for Trade Partner Key Performance Indicator (KPI) measurement and validation
Performs analysis of Trade Partner data submissions and manages impact of commodity fluctuations
Maintain all applicable databases (TCO, DMT, etc.) used in developing the cost and quantity estimates
Complete necessary customer option estimates
Communicate completed estimates to the construction personnel, trade subcontractors and vendors
Check and verify all completed estimates through field verifications and the prototype process, focusing on quantities
Perform additional job functions deemed relevant and assigned by the division manager
Follow Pulte business processes for supplier management

Related Functional Experience: Minimum 1 year
A comprehensive knowledge of all technical and procedural activities related to home building constructions
Follow company estimating documentation methods developed
High level of Microsoft Excel proficiency
Conduct total plan, detailed estimates on a plan using appropriate techniques
Have a working knowledge of local building codes
Ability to understand all house construction plans, specifications and geologic reports
Purchasing and supply chain experience
Ability to work in a cost transparent environment
Ability to work in a continuous improvement environment
