PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complies with all PPE standards and is aware of all safety practices, follows safety rules and procedures, complies with all legal regulations.
- Checks orders for accuracy
- Delivers and unloads materials to customers’ satisfaction.
- Completes daily equipment pre-inspection.
- Records all merchandise that is returned by truck, assists in unloading material returned for credit.
- Operates a forklift to load and unload trucks.
- Follows all company established safety rules, policies, and procedures.
- Operates all trucks in safe and efficient manner, maintains records regarding equipment use and time charged.
- Logs deliveries
- Relays messages sent by customers while on job.
- Assists in maintaining good housekeeping in yard and warehouse.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum experience required - 1 year of delivery driving which includes delivering building materials.
- Moffett experience a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Driver’s License: must maintain a valid driver’s license issued by the state you work in.
- Driving record: always maintain a clean driving record.
- Adhere to safety procedures and transportation laws.
