POSITION SUMMARY: The Copy Center Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of the printing process, including pre-production, production, and post-production (bindery). This role ensures high-quality output while meeting deadlines, maintaining equipment, and fostering a safe and efficient work environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Oversee and execute printing jobs from inception to completion, maintaining quality and adhering to deadlines and departmental policies.
2. Communicate effectively with the Customer Service team and Production Manager regarding potential delays or issues, and propose alternative timelines when necessary.
3. Troubleshoot production challenges, including resolving corrupt files. Perform minor file edits or typesetting, ensuring customer approval of revised artwork.
4. Maintain and troubleshoot printing equipment, coordinating service requests as required.
5. Maintain a clean, safe workspace by removing hazards and promptly addressing spills or debris.
6. Monitor inventory levels for production supplies, proactively communicating shortages to management for reordering.
7. Implement waste reduction techniques and adhere to environmentally friendly practices.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
· High school diploma or GED required
· 3-5 years of related experience
· Valid driver’s license.
· Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel & Word)
· Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & Acrobat)
· Ability to work effectively and efficiently under deadline pressure

· Knowledge of bindery techniques and bindery equipment (folding machines, scoring machines, laminators etc.)
