Overview
This position is primarily responsible for managing office staff and field operations to maintain warranty contractual obligation for homes under warranty and ensures excellent customer service is provided to homeowners.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Manages completion of all two/four and eleven month warranty lists and communicates/negotiates with staff and subcontractors on issues and complaints.
- Responds to quality issues where homeowner dissatisfaction is evident, including meeting with homeowners to review and resolves sensitive situations prior to formal complaints or litigation being filed.
- Initiates correspondence to staff other departments, state or local agencies, legal counsel and homeowners.
- Analyzes monthly warranty statistics and reports results to supervisor.
- Meets regularly with field staff to review field problems first hand, including Registrar of Contractors job inspections and ensures staff receives and complies with Customer Care training provided by Division/Beazer Homes.
- Conducts needs analyses and develops and maintains support organization to meet current and future projections.
- Maintains budgets on purchase orders issued to subcontractors and reimbursements to homeowners.
- Assists in managing/manages personnel matters
- May assist in coordinating safety program for Division by ensuring construction sites have required information posted or available for OSHA, making periodic inspections, representing Division at OSHA inspections and coordinating safety training program with Construction Department. Reports any safety issues to supervisor.
Education & Experience
- College degree preferred, but may substitute equivalent experience in construction industry.

Technical Knowledge & Experience
Physical Requirements
- May visit construction sites where temperature, weather, and noise may vary.
- May encounter electrical, dust, poor ventilation, dangerous machinery, moving objects, and toxic conditions.
