Loan Analyst 1 is an entry level position. The Loan Analyst 1 will learn the role of Loan Processor, providing familiarization with our IT systems, learn about processor/borrower communications and file workflow. LA1s will assist in obtaining documentation from solution vendors, verifying validity of borrower information, prepare files for review, and manage their responsibilities in a file pipeline. Specified training courses will be introduced to prepare LA1 for Loan Processor I as part of the Processor Development Program.

Your Responsibilities On The Team
- Learn and understand mortgage basics through computer-based training modules and tests to be completed in expected set time frame.
- Learn and use all system applications needed for the role of Loan Analyst 1.
- Learn how to pull and complete reports for files closing within 10 days. To include MERS report and re-verifications of employment.
- Learn duties of file escalations and how to complete in a timely manner.
- Maintain and balance loan pipelines of MERBALS and escalations while finishing structured coursework.
- Complete and pass structured coursework final exam within expected set time frame.
- Participate in regular group discussions to learn and implement structured training.
- Begin to process loans and show comprehension and execution of skillset learned through provided training.
- Professionally communicate with customers to obtain documentation necessary to get the loan cleared for closing in a timely manner.
- Meet loan deadlines to ensure close dates will be met.
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of customer information.
- Maintain current compliance training status.
