Job Description

MBK Real Estate is expanding its Home Office Talent Acquisition team in Irvine, CA!

Hybrid Office Schedule: three days in the office, two days remote.

Job Summary:

At MBK, our Sr. Recruiter plays a vital role in building our team and supporting our mission of delivering exceptional experiences for candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders. As a Senior Recruiter, you’ll partner with senior leadership across the organization and collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Team to guide the hiring process from start to finish. You will lead full lifecycle recruiting efforts, drive talent acquisition strategies, and mentor junior recruiters to ensure that MBK attracts and retains top talent. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for talent acquisition, and possesses a proven track record in strategic recruiting.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Full Lifecycle Recruiting:

  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle for various roles, from entry-level to senior positions, helping managers find, hire, and retain quality candidates.
  • Actively source, engage, and screen top talent using competitive intelligence, networking, cold calling, and social media.
  • Provide hiring recommendations and decisions, where applicable.
  • Develop, negotiate, and close competitive offers in collaboration with hiring managers.

Recruitment Strategy and Consultation:

  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies and processes that align with the company’s goals and values.
  • Work closely with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand hiring needs and provide strategic advice to meet competitive goals and expectations.
  • Lead intake meetings and debriefs with hiring managers as recruiting subject matter expert.

Candidate Experience:

  • Develop processes to ensure a seamless and positive experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Mentor Recruiting Coordinators and Specialists on interview techniques, process efficiency, and candidate experience.

Market Research and Industry Trends:

  • Stay updated on industry trends and conduct market research within healthcare, real estate, and industrial property sectors to guide recruitment strategies.

Mentorship and Development:

  • Provide guidance and training to junior recruiters, overseeing their development and performance.
  • Participate in behavioral interview training, talent development initiatives, and college and community recruiting efforts.

Talent Acquisition Projects:

  • Lead and own recruiting projects and programs such as the Talent Ambassador Program, engagement committees, diversity strategy, and intern programs.
  • Promote MBK’s talent brand through various channels, enhancing employer reputation and engagement.

Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives:

  • Partner in building diversity strategies, creating resource groups, and leading diversity-related training.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms to manage candidate data, generate reports, and analyze staffing metrics.
  • Provide regular updates on recruiting activities, ensuring stakeholders are informed of hiring progress.

Recruitment Tools and System Management:

  • Manage recruiting tools and systems, providing training to clients and candidates as needed.
  • Evaluate and participate in implementing new recruiting technologies and tools to improve talent acquisition processes.

Relationship Building:

  • Build relationships with trade schools, universities, community organizations, and professional networks to establish a strong talent pipeline.

All Other Duties:

  • Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned to support the Talent Acquisition Team and broader organizational goals.

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

  • Proven success in conducting interviews using various methods
  • Works autonomously, making hiring decisions that impact the business 
  • Ability to communicate through presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Excellent attitude and team player 
  • Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint 
  • Experience with ATS systems, preferably Workday, recruitment strategies, processes, and talent branding 
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, outgoing, and flexible 
  • Thorough understanding of applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of talent acquisition experience, preferably within a related industry 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with behavioral-based Interviewing or other methods of selection methodology training.

Required Competencies/Licenses/Certifications:  

  • Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Must be mobile and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, bending, kneeling, stooping, pushing, pulling and repetitive motion.
  • Ability to stand, sit and work at a computer for long periods of time.
  • Able to walk and move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • To operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination, including the use of a computer keyboard.
  • Communicate both written and verbally at a high level to exchange information.
  • Travel up to 20%

Competitive salary we're offering $90,000 - 120,000 annually
