About Athlete To Athlete Athlete to Athlete is a fast-growing, venture-backed start-up based in Los Angeles that offers Athletic Mentorship and Coaching Programs for youth athletes. In our programs, student-athletes are paired with a current Division 1 College-Athlete Mentor who plays their sport and can help build their confidence, taking their game to the next level. Our mission is to build the next generation of driven, confident, and resilient student-athletes through mentorship. About The Role In this role, your responsibilities will focus on converting marketing leads into paying customers. This includes, but is not limited to, matching a Division 1 Mentor with new students, scheduling introductory meetings between the parents and mentors, and ensuring these calls go off without issue. Most importantly, you will be tasked with closing sales after the initial meeting concludes. Throughout the process, you will serve as a source of knowledge for clients, addressing any inquiries they may have, with the ultimate goal of a successful onboarding. You will work closely with our marketing and operations teams to most effectively coordinate efforts across the company and continuously improve our sales funnel. This is an on-site position based in Los Angeles. Key Responsibilities
- Managing inbound leads and executing follow-up procedures
- Answering inquiries and overcoming objections from prospective clients
- Scheduling calls between applicable stakeholders such as prospective clients and existing contracted mentors
- Closing clients and establishing clear expectations for seamless client handover to operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
- Intrinsically detail-oriented and organized – you’ll be working with lots of data and systems that are key to our success
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Scrappy and driven
