A day in the life
We are seeking a Director of Events to own and execute high-impact events that educate and engage our customers and key industry leaders, globally. This role will be responsible for conceptualizing, driving on world-class marketing experiences that promote Prologis’ brand, establish thought leadership, and drive customer pipeline and revenue through effective field marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will be an organized community-builder who can capture what differentiates Prologis through exceptional event experiences.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Own the end-to-end strategy, execution and reporting of Prologis’ owned events, including executive roundtables, sponsorships, broker events, thought leadership and more
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional leadership teams to ensure events effectively reflect Prologis’ culture and value proposition
- Develop and execute a comprehensive field marketing strategy that aligns with sales objectives and contributes directly to pipeline growth and revenue generation from key accounts and verticals
- Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics, ensuring flawless execution and attendee experience
- Measure event effectiveness and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize future events and overall event strategy
- Build and nurture relationships with key customers, partners, industry influencers and senior leaders to engage them as speakers, sponsors and participants
- Remain current on industry trends, research, and new technologies to develop events that advance Prologis’ position and deepen engagement with our priority audiences
- Design the resourcing and vendor strategy to support a repeatable, scalable event playbook
Building blocks for success
Required
- 8+ years’ experience developing and executing large-scale events (and heavy event calendar). Must have in-house, corporate events experience, ideally for a high-growth global company
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing field marketing strategies that directly contribute to sales pipeline and revenue growth
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and ability to align event strategies with sales objectives
- Proven track record of creating memorable, on-brand event experiences that drive business results
- Exceptional project management skills with ability to manage complex budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams
- Strong leadership and team management skills; experience building and leading high-performing event teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with senior executives and external stakeholders

- Willingness to travel as needed to support event execution
Hiring Salary Range of: $154,000 to $185,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target & LTI) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
